Robotopera is a netlabel. We release music that reflects a certain aesthetic or artistic model and make it freely available to the public. Robotopera represents artists who demonstrate a skill and passion for composing beautiful music and audio sculptures using a wide palette of technologies new and old. We look for music that reflects emotion through simple means and interesting sound design. Rather than full-on traditional approach to songwriting and composition, we look for compositions that use subtlety and intricacies, and inherent rhythm through repetition in audible events (rather than actual percussion). We intend to encourage collaboration between artists and the execution of new ideas, as well as provide a home for the results. All material is available as full quality (320kbps) stereo MP3 files to maintain the integrity of the work and ensure a pleasant listening experience for the audience.
